June 6, 2022 I lost the love of my life to cardiac arrest.
He stopped at a gas station on his way home from work, and collapsed inside. Someone administered CPR until the paramedics arrived, but he never recovered. He passed away at the age of 44.
Life is unpredictable and tomorrow is not promised. This year, I'm choosing to make a difference in the lives of others by participating in the Heart Walk. This walk will be different. It's personal. With each step I take, I'll be honoring Donald and so many others who have lost loved ones, and/or survived heart disease and strokes.
