As many know my husband Carl survived a Stoke in 2011. It left him with many deficits, but because of skilled doctors and research he is alive today. My grandfather had a heart attack, my grandmother a stroke, my father had a heart condition, and 2 aunts that survived strokes. Needless to say this walk is very close to my heart. (All of the puns intended )
