We walk for our son Joseph Jr.
Joseph was diagnosis with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome with mitral stenosis/aortic atresia, and pulmonary artery stenosis. On May 31st, 3 days old JJ had his first heart surgery (Norwood procedure). He went on to spend 3 months at Dells Children Hospital to recover from surgery and over come endocarditis.
On September 23, 2024, JJ had his second heart surgery (Glenn Procedure). JJ has continued to grow and thrive. He deals with challenges but it's part of the process. We thank God for blessing us with JJ and to be able to share his story!
We know JJ has one more surgery for sure later in life. For now we celebrate him and how much he has over come. We know God has a plan for JJ and we are ready for it!
