Two years ago, someone very dear to those I love suffered a stroke- a moment that changed not just his life, but the lives of everyone who cares about him. Watching him fight through recovery showed me the incredible strength of the human spirit and the critical importance of stroke prevention and care.
I am walking in his honor-celebrating how far he has come and supporting the mission to ensure others have the same fighting chance he did. Every step I take represents hope: hope for better treatments, faster response times and, a world where fewer families have to face fear and uncertainty of stroke.
This walk is personal for so many. It is about gratitude for survival, admiration for courage, and commitment to a cause that touches so many lives. Together, we can make a difference.
