I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
The American Heart Association celebrates our second century this year, and we’re excited to continue impact at this year’s Heart Walk!
❤ I walk for my Tatay (my grandfather), who passed from a stroke.
❤ I walk for my late father-in-law, whose love for Hawaii runs deep in our ohana & whose life was effected by heart disease.
❤ I walk for my keiki, who both deserve a future of health equity and a world free of cardiovascular disease.
❤ I walk for our community, to ensure we’re building a healthier Hawaii. Our islands deserve that!
With Heart Disease and Stroke being the #1 and #3 leading causes of death in our community, I invite you all to join the fight, meet us next Saturday and give a gift that’s meaningful to you! Your support can help save lives. Please consider a gift that is meaningful to you.
