I walk to give people more time; more birthdays, more backyard BBQs, more quiet mornings with coffee, more hugs. I walk because I’ve seen how quickly heart disease can take those moments away.
I walk in memory of two friends, Brett and Kojun, whose lives were cut short by heart-related causes. Losing them was a powerful reminder that heart health can’t wait, but it also motivates me to take action. Through this walk, I’m hopeful we can help more people live longer, healthier lives with the ones they love.
Heart disease and cardiac arrest affect people every day, often without warning. But we can do something about it. Every dollar raised helps fund CPR training, breakthrough research, and programs that make our communities stronger and more prepared.
If this resonates with you, I would be truly grateful for your support. The Heart Walk is deeply personal to me, and your gift—of any amount—can make a real difference.
That’s why I walk: to honor Brett and Kojun, and to help protect the time we have with the people who matter most.
Will you join me?
