As someone who works closely with survivor families across Washington, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible strength, resilience, and love that surrounds every heartbeat.
Through the Kids Heart Challenge, I’ve had the privilege of meeting students and families who use their voices to make a difference. Many of them have raised thousands of dollars to help fund lifesaving research and resources. They inspire me every single day.
This year, I’m walking for them.
I’ve created a special “Heart Heroes” team for these amazing survivor families to come together at the Heart Walk — not to fundraise, but simply to walk, connect, and celebrate. Many of them have already fundraised through KHC, and this walk is our way to honor their journeys and amplify their stories.
