EAST BAY HEART WALK
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th, 2025
9:00AM - 11:00 AM
CIVIC PARK, WALNUT CREEK
Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you know, on February 16, 2025, my life changed when I had a massive heart attack. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women, yet too often it is overlooked or misunderstood. My symptoms weren't the "classic" ones we all hear about-reminding me how important it is to raise awareness that heart disease looks different in women.
That's why I'm walking in the American Heart Association Heart Walk 2025 with my team, Betsy's Beats. This cause is deeply personal, but it's also about more than me. Heart disease doesn't discriminate-it affects women, men, young people, and families everywhere. By raising funds, we can support research, education, and life-saving programs that give us all a better chance.
I would be honored if you would join me in this fight:

❤️ Walk with us on event day to show your support.
❤️ Spread the word by sharing my story and the importance of heart health.
Every step we take and every dollar we raise brings us closer to a world free from heart disease. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me turn my story into hope for others.
With gratitude,
Betsy Piombo
