Every step we take in the Heart Walk is a step for Zeke, our Heart Warrior, and for the countless other children and families facing congenital heart defects. As parents, we have spent many nights in the hospital, holding onto hope and trusting in the incredible doctors, research, and medical advancements that make a difference in Zeke’s life. At just four years old, Zeke has already undergone multiple open-heart surgeries, and his journey is far from over. But through it all, he remains a bright, determined, and extraordinary little boy. His strength fuels our purpose, and his story is a testament to the power of resilience, love, and faith.
We are walking as a family—Zeke’s little sister, Aja, may only be two, but she is one of his biggest supporters, always watching over and protecting him. We are in this together, standing strong as a family and a community, believing that every dollar raised and every step taken brings us closer to breakthroughs that will save lives. We also walk in faith, knowing that God is a healer and a miracle worker.
