9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. On November 6th 2021 my dad became a part of that statistic. My sister started participating in the Heart Walk a few years ago to honor our dad, to create a sense of purpose in a season of grief. This year I am joining her to help raise funds in the hope that less daughters and sons lose their dads, less wives lose their other half and more people have better access to life saving measures.
