The Heart Walk has always been a special event for me and I often participate with some of my family members. As some of you know, my mom had a tumor in her heart and had open heart surgery nearly 15 years ago, so this fundraiser is very personal for me. My other personal reason to walk and fundraise is for Henry. A friend of mine had a baby born with Hypoplastic Left Heart. He is now 5 and has had his big fontan heart surgery, and is rocking life! My last reason, is that I've also been working with heart patients for 14 years in Cardiac Rehab. I've been part of many miracles and the AHA has a lot to do with it all! Please consider walking for your heart and donate if you can!
Saving and improving lives can be as simple as taking a walk. And I know I'm making a difference in the lives of others by participating in the Heart Walk.
But it's not just my efforts alone that will one day help us see a world free of heart disease and stroke. I am walking with a team of heart heros because together, we will have an even greater impact. And you can help us change the world, one step at a time, by donating to my fundraiser.
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that keeps hearts beating and helps people enjoy longer, healthier lives. I can't do it alone.
Please help me now by donating. Because every step counts. And together we are helping save lives!
