Team Ben is back for year number 16 of the American Heart Association- Heart Walk.
Team Ben has been walking for the past 15 years, after my Ben passed away suddenly from Dilated Cardiomyopathy, a heart condition we didn't know he had. This came as a shock to everyone he knew, as he was an athletic individual and loved being outdoors. Ben was a sweet, caring, and amazing husband, son, friend and overall human.
I walk in hopes that a cure will be found for this terrible disease. I walk to save lives. I walk in memory of my Ben.
