** WEATHER UPDATE **

In the past few days, radar forecasts have predicted severe weather conditions before and during the Hall County Heart Walk due to Hurricane Helene. After working together with our city officials and volunteer leaders, we have decided to postpone the Hall County Heart Walk originally scheduled for Thursday, September 26 at the Midland Greenway, to better focus on the needs of our community. We encourage all Heart Walk participants, sponsors and volunteers to stay indoors and follow safety guidelines. We are working our hardest to reschedule this event. Please be on the lookout for additional details in the coming days.

We remain committed to our mission of improving the community’s overall health and well-being and to building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. We know that research shows cardiovascular disease patients are among the most vulnerable during a severe weather crisis. We need to do everything we can to ensure that this storm does not put more people at an even higher risk.

If you need to reach us, or have concerns or questions, please reach out to Julie Ann Hamilton at JulieAnn.Hamilton@heart.org.

Thank you again for your continued support of our mission in your community.

With heartfelt thanks,
Your Hall County Heart Walk Team
