In 2021, my father received a life-saving pacemaker. A little-known fact is that the first wearable battery-operated pacemaker was implanted in a patient in 1957 through funding by the American Heart Association. Today, the pacemaker is a routine procedure and is contributing to longevity in people like my father.
My father's heart condition was caught in time and I am grateful! Unfortunately, in the United States, on average, someone dies of cardiovascular disease every 36 SECONDS!
I am walking for my father on September 24 in Dallas. Please make a donation to my walk. Your contribution will fund groundbreaking research that keeps hearts beating and helps people enjoy longer, healthier lives.
Donate today! It will feel great!
