Ava Cynthia Fernandez was born on May 17, 2016 with Coarctation of the Aorta. She has underwent 3 heart procedures since birth with the care of the amazing cardiologist at Driscoll Childrens Hospital in Corpus Christi. Ava has also been dignosed with ADHD and has been fighting a big fight. She is the bravest and most strongest 7 year old who continues to beat the odds.
The Heart Walk is a time of celebration, joy, and inspiration. It's also an event where people work together to support one single goal - to create a world free of heart disease and stroke.
