On August 27, 2021, Anthony suffered a widow maker heart attack. According to the American Heart Association, the survival rate for this type of heart attack is roughly 10%. By the grace of God, the hands of his cardiologist, and today's cardiovascular technology, Anthony survived. And, now, he is almost 2 years out from his cardiac event.

We are forever grateful to God and the healthcare team that saved his life that day.

We now know that Anthony was predisposed to heart disease and that he has a genetically elevated lipoprotein a, of which there is no FDA approved drug to help lower that level.

So, our family is committed to making heart healthy lifestyle choices through diet and exercise to prevent another cardiac event. This is particularly important to help keep Frankie and Lucas healthy as they grow up.

Our family is also committed to contributing to the American Heart Association to further the research that funds life saving breakthroughs.

Last year, the Inaugural Greco Family Heart Walk successfully raised over $6,300 for the American Heart Association! (Surpassing our goal by +26%!)
