Why Am I Fundraising?
Heart disease kills more people than all the cancers combined while strokes are the #1 cause of disabilities. All of us have either suffered personal pain and loss or know of others who are survivors, caregivers, or have loss someone to heart disease.Heart disease has struck my family twice.First my husband suffered a massive stroke in August 2017. He was 45- years old. He survived but lives daily with the residual effects that a stroke has on the mind, body, and spirit. In March 2021 my little sister LeKeisha suffered a fatal heart attack while at work.
I have decided to turn my pain into purpose. I am here to save lives. I need your help. Become a part of my "Legacy of Health" or create a team of your own, or simply donate. No amount is too small.
