This year, as the American Heart Association celebrates its 100th year anniversary, I am proud to re-engage with this great organization as a part of their Centennial Legacy Circle for the Heart Challenge and annual Wall Street Run & Heart Walk campaign alongside other legacy leaders of the AHA who have set a bold goal to raise $1M.
I got involved with the American Heart Association many years ago because of heart incidences with my mom and since then many friends and other family members have continued to be impacted. It is becoming harder and harder to find someone who has not been affected by this terrible disease. This has only raised more awareness and urgency about the commitment needed to achieve the mission of longer, healthier lives for all. Heart disease remains the #1 killer and kills more people than all forms of cancer combined. It is not visible or talked about and it is largely preventable through lifestyle choices.
I have been honored to serve is so many important leadership roles with the AHA including serving many years as the NYC Board Chair. Please join me as I celebrate this monumental milestone and continue to make an impact so more people can live free of heart disease.
Please consider helping me hit my $100,000 personal fundraising goal by making a donation to my personal page here.
I appreciate your consideration and I hope that you’ll join me in this meaningful effort.
My very best,
Jeff
