Life is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
Forty-seven years ago my brothers and I lost our father to heart disease; a condition that he did not know he had. We were all young men then, I was only 15 years old. Forty-seven years is a long time to miss someone who died at a young age. It is also a long time for the research and work of the American Heart Association to make significant advancements. Earlier this year one of my brothers had a mild heart attack. He is fine. He was easily able to identify signs which pointed to his need to seek and obtain medical attention to advert bigger problems. The gentleman pictured above with me is my friend John Sueme. John successfully received a new heart five years ago and thus received a new lease on life. Today the knowledge about heart disease and stroke combined with the medical advancements would have easily saved my father's life and allowed him to live so much longer with his family. He is the first reason why I was drawn to learn more about this cause and why I have supported the American Heart Association in its annual Heart Walk for 15 years straight. John Sueme's success story is but one continuing reason why I continuously support this cause. For all of the reasons above I support the American Heart Association, please join me in doing the same.
Please help me reach this lifesaving goal by donating today. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
Thank you in advance for your support!
