December 2018 I rode in an ambulance to TX Children's b/c my heart was beating fast (220 bpm) for almost an hour! I was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome. It is an extra electoral pathway b/c your heart's upper & lower champers. In March 2019 I had a catheter ablation to fix my heart. The doctor said it was a very complicated pathway she had to fix. When I went for my follow up 3 months later, the doctor told us I still had WPW. I don't have the rapid heart beats very often any more, but it is something that I need to pay attention to. I have yearly check ups and treadmill stress tests. It doesn't slow me down! I love to jump rope, swim, tumble, cheer, archery & play basketball!
I love participating in American Heart Challenge! Please make a donation and support me today!
Thank you!
